I know I’m a few days late with my posting but here’s another photo from my Death Valley trip. This was shot at sunset in Badwater Flats. This is dried salt from what was Lake Manly during the Ice Age. This salt pan is about 95% pure salt and covers 200 square miles. At its lowest spot, it measures 282 feet below sea level. That makes it is also the lowest spot below sea level in North America.
