This is another image from my trip to Yosemite. It was shot at Olmsted Point, traveling on Tioga Road, which is out on the North East side of the park. Usually Tioga Road does not open until maybe the end of May because of the snow still on the road. Due to the lack of snow the year, the road opened very early. Then it was closed for a day because it snowed, but to our luck, opened a day later. It was still stormy along the way (rain instead if snow at times), but it sure helped make this photo.
Olmstead Point is an area in Yosemite of shear granite that has trees growing out of it. This tree is very popular for people to take pictures in front of and is very hard to get a shot of without people around it. I just got lucky that there was a lull for a minute and got a shot.
